§ Mr. Elystan Morganasked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will ask the Welsh Economic Council to make a study of the feasibility of establishing small industrial trading estates in suitable rural areas of Wales.
§ Mr. Cledwyn HughesConsiderable progress has already been made in establishing new manufacturing industries in the Welsh rural areas. Whenever practicable small factories are erected on group sites but the relatively small number of workers available in any one place is often a limiting factor. I am already in close touch with the Welsh Economic Council about the problems of the rural areas.
