Mr. David Howellasked the Lord President of the Council if he will seek to arrange that the members of the Ministry of Public Building and Works who are carrying out a preliminary survey to try to establish the range of Members' requirements for a new Parliamentary building, make an on-the-spot study of the facilities provided in the United States Congress.
§ Mr. CrossmanThe survey to which the hon. Gentleman refers has been commissioned by a sub-committee of the House of Commons (Services) Committee and I will ask the Committee to bear his point in mind when considering this matter further.
