§ Captain Kerbyasked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will give figures for the number of officers in the Royal Navy requesting voluntary retirement since the conclusion of the moratorium on the actual release of officers at the end of last year; and if he will give comparable figures for a similar period in 1966 and 1965.
§ Mr. FoleyThe moratorium, which did not in the event affect actual release dates, was raised in August, 1966. The figures are as follows:
