HC Deb 12 June 1967 vol 748 c16W
Mr. Eldon Griffiths

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what consultations he has had with the Government of Iran about the development of British policy in South Arabia and the Persian Gulf, having regard to Great Britain's partnership with Iran in the Central Treaty Organisation and the possible effects of Great Britain's policy on that country's security.

Mr. George Thomson

Her Majesty's Government are frequently in touch with the Imperial Iranian Government, which is our partner in the Central Treaty Organisation, on matters of mutual interest and concern. Our exchanges of views are confidential and I cannot give any details.
