§ 65. Mr. David Steelasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will seek to amend the Income Tax Acts to provide greater protection for the taxpayer to reclaim excessive payments made to the Inland Revenue.
§ Mr. MacDermotI think the existing safeguards are adequate. But if the hon. Member will send me details I will consider any suggestions or individual cases he may have in mind.
