§ Mr. Richard Wainwrightasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will make a further statement on the progress made into setting up a Yorkshire Association for the Arts; and what parts of the county it is intended to cover.
§ Miss Jennie LeeI understand that the detailed plans for setting up the Association have so far failed to win the support of some of the major local authorities. Discussions are continuing, but I cannot say when the Association is likely to be inaugurated. It is expected that it will cover the East and West Ridings.
