§ Mr. DarlingIn February, 1966, a Working Party of the Economic Development Committee for the Paper and Board Industry made a number of recommendations, designed principally to relate the collection of waste paper more closely to demand. The implementation of these recommendations has been discussed between representatives of mills, merchants and local authorities, and a joint advisory body has been set up to keep a watch on trends in supply and demand. We are aware of the valuable contribution which the Waste Paper Recovery Association Ltd. is making in this field.
