§ Mr. FernyhoughThe number of metally ill persons (as distinct from the mentally subnormal) registered at Employment Exchanges in Great Britain and considered unlikely to obtain employment other than under sheltered conditions was 667 on 10th April, 1967. Provision for such persons can normally best be made through the expansion of sheltered employment facilities for the severely disabled in general; expansion of these facilities is under constant review.
