Bromley-Davenportasked the Lord President of the Council whether, in view of the recent practice under which advance notice is given in the Parliamentary Order Paper of Ministerial statements to be made in morning sittings, if he will seek to make similar arrangements for the general convenience of Members of this House for similar 324W advance notices to be given about Ministerial statements to be made after the Question Hour in the afternoon session.
§ Mr. CrossmanNo. The need for Ministerial Statements after Question Time frequently arises at very short notice, and it would not be practicable for such advance notification to be given.
