§ Sir F. Bennettasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in the light of the conclusions and recommendations of the Tress Report on the South-West Region he will now take immediate steps to modify or altogether remove the imposition of the Selective Employment Tax.
§ Mr. DiamondI would draw the hon. Member's attention to section 25 of the Finance Act, 1967. This concession should be of assistance to hotels and catering and other service industries in the South-West as elsewhere.
