§ Mr. Straussasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will now introduce legislation to implement the conclusions of the Joint Select Committee of the two Houses on Theatre Censorship.
§ Mr. Roy JenkinsThe Government intend at a suitable opportunity to introduce legislation to give effect to the general principle of the Joint Select Committee's recommendations. The Lord Chamberlain welcomes the Government's decision but for the time being he will of course continue to discharge his duties under the existing law.
