§ Mr. Biffenasked the Minister of Labour what study he has made of the computerised survey of salaries carried out by Careers Register, a copy of which has been sent to him, which suggests that some employers have anticipated back-dating of salaries contrary to the intention of the Government's prices and incomes policy; what action he proposes to take to identify these employers; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. GunterI have seen the statement to which the hon. Member refers. Without identifying the employers concerned, it is not possible to say whether or not they have been acting without regard to the policy for productivity, prices and incomes.
