Q19. Mr. Edward M. Taylorasked the Prime Minister if he will make a statement on his visit to Clydeside on 21st July and on the discussions which he had with the Confederation of Shipbuilding and Engineering Unions on the shortage of work in the Clyde shipyards.
§ The Prime MinisterI visited Clydebank on the 21st July to see the Q4 under construction. I was also able to have informal talks with representatives of both sides of industry but I have no report to make to the House.
