§ Mr. Bakerasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if, in view of the shortage of orders in the Clyde shipbuilding yards, he will give an assurance that the new dredger shortly to be ordered by the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries for Scotland will be built on the Clyde.
§ Mr. RossI shall shortly invite competitive tenders for building this vessel and until these have been received and considered I cannot say where the contract will be placed.
