As electric standards have already been installed in Birdcage Walk and Horse Guards' Approach Road, most of the old standards in these thoroughfares will also be removed at the same time. Two original standards outside the Foreign Office and a group at Queen Anne's Gate will be retained as agreeable reminders of a bygone era.
