§ 83. Mr. E. L. Mallalieuasked the Minister of Transport whether she will now make a further statement about progress with the arrangements which are under consideration for the financing and construction of the Channel Tunnel.
§ Mrs. CastleProvisional proposals for financing and managing the construction of the tunnel have been submitted by each of the three groups invited to do so. When the proposals have been studied by British and French officials, detailed discussions will begin with the three groups.
