§ Mr. Roy JenkinsIt is for the Commissioner to decide in what circumstances in the Metropolitan Police District police officers may be permitted to work in shirt sleeve order. He does not consider this to be an appropriate dress for officers on indoor duty in the Palace of Westminster, and he has received no representations on the subject from the officers so employed.
