§ Mr. CroslandI sent a letter on 19th July to all colleges and departments of education and local education authorities asking them to do all they can to in-58W crease still further the recruitment of older students who after training will have so valuable a part to play in the schools. I have asked all colleges and authorities in particular to consider the possibility of setting up more college outposts for mature students.
