§ Mr. Gwynfor Evansasked the Minister of Transport how many different types of official form were being used in Wales by her Department at the latest available date; and how many of these were published in the Welsh language or bilingually.
§ Mrs. CastleCurrently, 302. All are used by the department's Traffic Area Organisation and are common throughout England, Scotland and Wales. Where clear evidence of demand for a Welsh version of a form can be demonstrated and can be met reasonably in practical terms a bilingual version will be produced. So far we have issued one such form (application for a vehicle excise licence); we shall shortly add a second (application for a driving licence).
