§ Mr. SwinglerThe Humber Bridge Board, on which the local authorities adjacent to the site of the proposed bridge are represented, is responsible for the soil tests and is empowered by the Humber Bridge Act, 1959, to carry them out. The Board is also responsible for raising the necessary funds; the Department has not provided any money for this purpose.
