§ Mr. M. StewartAs to the first part of the Question, I announced the terms of reference of the Committee which is being set up under the chairmanship of Sir Joseph Hunt, in reply to a question by the hon. Member for Colne Valley (Mr. Richard Wainwright) on 6th July. I hope that I shall be able to make an announcement about the membership shortly. As to the second part of the Question, paragraphs 48–50 of the White Paper entitled "The Development Areas: Regional Employment Premium (Command 3310)" record the Government's decision in view of the study under the chairmanship of Sir Joseph Hunt, not to introduce at the230W present time any special assistance for other areas, and the reason for that decision.—[Vol. 749, c. 275.]
