§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government whether he will now announce his decision with regard to the Stratford Broadway Development Scheme; and whether he will make a statement.
§ Mr. MacCollMy right hon. Friend has already indicated his acceptance in principle of this Scheme, subject to certain modifications which have been published.
He has also accepted it in principle for loan sanction for planning purposes.
On 23rd May he asked the Greater London Council to send him the necessary documents, so that he could give his formal approval to the scheme. This will be done as soon as the documents are received.
