Mr. Alfred Morris

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government how many homes have been completed since October, 1964; if he will give the figures for privately-owned and local authority rented houses separately; and what were the figures for the corresponding period up to October, 1964.

About 1,010,000 new permanent dwellings have been completed in Great Britain between 16th October, 1964 and the end of May, 1967 compared with about 846,000 in the corresponding period up to the 16th October, 1964.
