Mr. Edward M. Taylorasked the Minister of Transport what redundancy payments are available to the various categories of British Railways staff who are made redundant in consequence of agreed plans to increase productivity or achieve greater efficiency and who choose to seek other employment.
§ Mr. John MorrisSuch payments are made in accordance with comprehensive agreements reached between the British Railways Board and the unions. In general the terms are comparable with or superior to those of the Redundancy Payments Act, 1965.
