§ Mr. John MorrisThis information is not available, but the Area Road Safety Units in Hampshire and Warwickshire report that in some 26,000 injury accidents analysed by them, 3 or 4 per cent. of fatal accidents and 1 per cent. of other injury accidents involved collisions with trees. The proportion of these in which the presence of the trees could be considered to have caused the accident is not known.
