§ 44. Mr. Brian Parkynasked the Minister of Technology whether, in considering the future of the Culham Laboratory, he will take account of the need to maintain a centre for plasma physics research, irrespective of whether the work may lead to the development of a nuclear fusion reactor.
§ Dr. BrayThe value and cost of plasma physics research in relation to research in other fields will be taken into consideration in deciding the future of the Culham Laboratory.
