§ Mr. J. P. W. MallalieuThe training and licensing standards required for copilots conform with those specified by the International Civil Aviation Organisation. However, after preliminary consultation with operators last winter a review, in which representatives of the operators and the pilots are participating, was initiated in April of this year to determine what changes, if any, are desirable in licensing standards and the associated training in the light of present and future operating conditions.
