§ Mr. Spriggsasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will institute a study of the relative 27W incomes, conditions of service, pensions and related dependent pensions and orphan allowances of the British and European Economic Community police forces, and issue a White Paper.
§ Mr. Roy JenkinsI do not think that the proposed study, which would absorb a number of staff for a substantial time and result in a document of great complexity, would serve a sufficiently useful purpose to justify me in authorising it.
