§ 67. Mr. Hoggasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what steps he proposes to take to meet the concern expressed by the Council on Tribunals regarding the backlog of cases for assessment of rents under the recent legislation in the Westminster area and particularly in the constituency of St. Marylebone.
§ Mr. MacCollMy right hon. Friend has recently authorised the appointment of two more rent officers and additional supporting staff to the Westminster rent service, and arranged for rent officers from two other areas to help in reducing the arrears.
