57. Mr. Winfield Digby

asked the Minister of Technology what Government funds will be available to assist the new shipbuilding merger on the Tyne to construct a new shipbuilding yard.

Mr. Dell

Any requests for assistance in connection with shipbuilding on the Tyne should be addressed to the Ship- building Industry Board which will decide, subject to my right hon. Friend's approval, on the use of funds provided under the Shipbuilding Industry Act.
