§ 68. Mr. William Hamiltonasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT a table showing the annual deficit or balance in the housing accounts of each of the new towns annually since 1960–61.
§ Mr. MellishNew town development corporations and the Commission for the New Towns are not required to keep a separate housing account as part of their audited accounts. Certain information about the housing revenue position in each town is collected for administrative purposes, but I regret that this information is not in a form suitable for publication. My right hon. Friend is at present considering whether to make any change in these arrangements.
