asked the Minister of Technology what assistance was given by his Department in the installation of an automatic draughting machine in the British Ship Research Association's Walls-end research station.

In August, 1966, my right hon. Friend's Department offered a grant of up to £48,340 to the British Ship Research Association to help develop techniques for the use of automatic draughting equipment in shipbuilding.
