§ Mr. Richard Wainwrightasked the First Secretary of State and Secretary of State for Economic Affairs how many trained research workers work from the office of the Chairman of the Yorkshire 195W and Humberside Economic Planning Board; in what main subjects each of them graduated; and how many have been engaged in full-time research for more than five years.
§ Mr. ShoreThe staff of the Chairman of the Board includes three trained research workers. One is a graduate in Economics (1954) and an Associate Member of the Town Planning Institute (1959) and has had research experience extending over the last ten years much of which was full time. A second is an Honours graduate in Economics and Geography (1962): the other is an Honours graduate in Geography (1965).
This research team is supported by the research and specialist staffs of the Government Departments represented on the Board.
Additional research staff are being recruited to deal with the Board's future programme of work.
