§ 79. Mr. Ronald Bellasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what general density he has approved, and for what reasons, for the proposed new city in Buckinghamshire.
§ Mr. GreenwoodThe decision letter, of which I am sending the hon. Member a copy makes clear that, the area designated, which includes three existing towns, covers about 21,900 acres. The population by the end of the century will be about 250,000. These figures give an overall density of 11.4 persons per acre. The densities of actual development will be worked out in the Development Corporation's master plan.
