§ Mr. MacDermotIn the Departments under the control of my right hon. Friend, 1918 staff suggestions for greater economy and efficiency were received during 1966. 233 of these were adopted. Rewards were paid in respect of some of them, total-ling £609. 440 of these suggestions were still under review at the end of the year.
