HC Deb 25 January 1967 vol 739 c313W
Mr. Loveys

asked the Postmaster-General to what extent he takes into account the special needs of housing estates with a large proportion of elderly residents when deciding on the provision of telephone kiosks.

Mr. Joseph Slater

The area and population to be served are among the several factors which have to be taken into account in providing and siting telephone kiosks. Housing estates are given some general preference.
