§ 9. Mr. Eyreasked the Minister of Land and Natural Resources what he estimates will be the annual yield from the Land Commission levy upon the sale by owner-occupiers of dwellinghouses with up to one acre of land; and what is the estimated annual cost to the Land Commission of such collection.
Mr. WileyIt is not possible to estimate this. In the great majority of cases no liability for levy will arise on transactions related to owner-occupied houses, because no development value will be realised.
