§ Mr. ReynoldsFigures for aircraft unserviceability at Gan are only available for the last three years. During the years 1964 to 1966 inclusive 183 combat aircraft and 420 transport and other support aircraft were recorded as being unserviceable at Gan. This excludes three cases of serious damage following a crash or other incident, when some degree of rebuilding was necessary.) The average time taken to make them serviceable was 13.8 hours and 9.2 hours respectively. During the same period there were some 7,400 aircraft movements through Gan.
