§ Mr. Edward ShortWhile I fully sympathise with the motive underlying the request, I am very sorry that I should not feel justified in doing as the hon. Member suggests. I continually receive similar suggestions on behalf of many deserving causes abroad. To attempt to choose between them would involve invidious distinctions; and yet to meet them all would entail an unacceptable loss of revenue.
