§ Mr. CallaghanThe total net outflow of long-term capital, Government and private, in the first nine months of 1966 is estimated at £48 million. Figures for 1966 as a whole will be published in March. On the latter part of the hon. 59W Member's Question, the Government's exchange control measures and the Voluntary Programme are having a substantial effect.
