§ Mr. Ogdenasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he is aware that some local authorities are to increase their loan charges for house purchasers on 1st April, 1967 from seven per cent, to seven and three-eighths per cent.; and, in view of the recent reduction in Bank Rate, what advice he has offered to such authorities.
