Loney in January, 1966, on the application of Brighton Marine Company for planning permission to develop land east of Black Rock Swimming Pool to include, inter alia, a yacht harbour, marina club, restaurants, public houses, oceanarium, ice rink, shops, hotels, boatels and residential units.
