HC Deb 27 February 1967 vol 742 cc21-2W
36. Mr. Wingfield Digby

asked the Lord President of the Council whether he will seek to arrange for Questions to be taken during morning sittings, so that a larger proportion can be answered orally.

Mr. Crossman

Not at present. I think we should let the present experiment run to the end of the Session. We can consider change then.

40. Mr. Orme

asked the Lord President of the Council whether he will seek to amend Standing Orders so as to extend Question Time for 15 minutes in line with the recommendation of this Session of the First Report from the Select Committee on Procedure.

Mr. Crossman

Not at present. Before considering further change, I should prefer to see how our recent changes in procedure work.
