asked the Attorney-General what proposals he has for ending statutory restrictive legal practices.

The Attorney-General

The recent reference to the Monopolies Commission of restrictive practices affecting professional services excludes practices authorised by Statute. I have no grounds for thinking that these statutory practices are contrary to the public interest.
