Mr. Evelyn King

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government (1) what was the number of planning appeals made in the counties of Surrey, Hampshire, Dorset, Cornwall, Wiltshire, and Devonshire, respectively, in the last complete year for which figures are available; and what on average was the cost of each appeal to the local authority concerned;

(2) how many planning appeals there were, and what percentage of appeals was successful, in respect of Surrey, Hampshire, Dorset, Cornwall, Wiltshire, and Devonshire, respectively, and nationally, in the last complete year for which figures are available.
