§ Mr. George ThomsonAs hon. Members will know, the High Commissioner in Aden, in exercise of the Royal Prerogative, has commuted to one of 10 years' imprisonment the sentence of death passed on Guardsman Brian Gabriel by the Aden Supreme Court on the 3rd of December, 1966.
Guardsman Gabriel arrived in this country this morning to serve his sentence in one of H.M. Prisons.
