§ Mr. K. RobinsonFacilities for the treatment of patients with acute renal failure are adequate. The number of patients with chronic renal failure who would benefit from treatment by intermittent dialysis is not known. At present four such patients are being treated on kidney machines in hospitals in Liverpool. Developments in Liverpool have been held up by an outbreak of infection of the kind referred to in my Statement
