§ Sir D. Gloverasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what quantity of foreign eggs have been imported during the last 12 months; and what percentage this represents of home production.
§ Mr. John MackieImports of eggs in shell during the twelve months ended December, 1966 (which is the latest period for which official figures are available) totalled 660,000 boxes of 360 eggs. It is estimated that this quantity represented rather less than 2 per cent. of total U.K. supplies of shell eggs.
