HC Deb 15 February 1967 vol 741 cc101-2W
63. Mr. Hugh D. Brown

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what consultations have taken place with local authorities and other bodies concerned about the implications of the Report by the Sub-Committee of the Scottish Housing Advisory Committee on Scotland's Older Houses.

72. Mr. William Hamilton

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what reappraisal of housing policy he intends to make in the light of the disclosures in the Report by the Scottish Housing Advisory Committee entitled Scotland's Older Houses.

Mr. Ross

I have sent copies of the Report to all local housing authorities, to local authority associations, and to a number of professional bodies concerned. The local authorities have been asked for their views, and within the next ten days my noble Friend the Joint Under-Secretary of State will be having preliminary discussions with their housing conveners. Separate discussions will be held shortly with the other bodies.
