Mr. Edward M. Taylorasked the Secretary of State for Defence what payments are made in the event of redundancy to workers in the non-established grades in 113W his Department, in particular employees in Her Majesty's Dockyards, who have been employed continuously for more than two but less than five years; how these payments compare with those available under the Redundancy Payments Act; and whether he will alter the regulations relating to redundancy payments for non-established industrial civil servants to ensure that such employees are at least as favourably treated as those in outside industry covered by the provisions of the Redundancy Payments Act.
